This page explains what this site is, what it is not, and how you may use what you find here.
What this site is
CyberTrainingGuide.org publishes guides to cybersecurity certifications: what each exam covers, what it costs, who it suits, and how people prepare for it. It is written by practitioners describing their own experience and their reading of published exam materials.
What this site is not
- Not official. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by CompTIA, ISC2, ISACA, EC-Council, GIAC, SANS, Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, OffSec, the Cloud Security Alliance, or any other certification body. Their names and marks belong to them. We use them only to identify the certifications we describe.
- Not exam content. We do not publish, reproduce, or solicit live exam questions. Nothing here is a brain dump, and we will not link to one.
- Not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, financial, or career advice specific to your situation.
Accuracy
The certification bodies set exam costs, question counts, domain weightings, prerequisites and renewal rules. They change them without notice. We check our pages against published sources and fix any differences we find. The vendor’s own page is always the authority. Confirm current details there before you book an exam or spend money.
